Bad Experience By Buying Meat From Longcroft Super Meats

On the 7 of october 2020 i bought two halves grade B1 sheep from longcroft Super meats in longbury drive Phoenix.One half sheep went for my mum and the other half sheep was for my home.

A few days later,upon seeing my mum,she told me that Longcroft meat center had ****** me for the meat.I asked her why? she said that she cooked the meat for 4 hours and the meat is still hard.That should not be,because grade B1 should be soft cooking.

When i went to my home the first thing my wife said,"the meat that you bought is terrible", she bean cooking it for hours and its still hard. Thats when i realized that i was not given grade B1 meat.

So from monday 12/10/2020 i have been phoning longcroft meat centre to complain. I was kept on being told that the manager/owner is busy or not in,i must call back in a fewhours.

This went on the whole week finally on thursday 15/10/2020,i told the girl that answered the phone,if someone does not phone me back within 24 hours,i will post this issue on social media.

Within 5 to 10 minutes,i got a call back.I think the persons name was Shakeer or Shakeel.

After explaining my story,he said he can only help me,if i produce my receipt,because there will be no proof that i bought the sheep from Longcroft meat centre. I told him that I did not have the receip***** thrown away, but he can make sure by watching his security camera recording and see that I did buy the meat from Longcroft butchery.

I also told him nobody buys meat to the value of R1700 from store A and takes it back to store B with a complaint. Thats logical thinking. Anybody can understand that.

To cut a long story short, he refused to address my problem because I did not have a receipt to prove that I bought the meat from Longcroft super meats.

Trying to shirk his responsibility of rectifying the issue of selling me defective grade meat by hiding behind a no receipt policy (even though he knows at the back of his mind the the meat is from his butchery) is totally unislamic and against the sunnah.

I will not buy any meat or meat products from Longcroft Super Meats any more because : 1. They sold me defective grade meat(not given what I paid for) and refused to address the problem. 2. I am now not too sure if the meat is 100% halaal (permissible/lawfull), because of contamination from their not permissible/********l (haraam) business etiquette.
