INCREASED PRICE BY R3000 AFTER GIVING QUOTE

I was looking for 18 inch tyres. I called Lombard tyres in Randburg and they quoted me on 3 different brands. I accepted the quote on Michelin tyres for R9270. I was to go through on the weekend for fitment. <br> The next day I went to my bank to acquire a loan to pay for the tyres. A day later I received a call from Lombard tyres stating that they misquoted me and that the price is now R11200!!!!! I was absolutely livid!!<br> Upon asking to speak to their director I was transferred to their Financial Manager who confirmed that this is the reality and that he cannot do anything to help. All he said was \I am sorry"- - really?<br> I would like to find out how you mistreat customers like this and get away with it and you haven't even offered any form of compensation. Is this the norm Lombard tyres?? I find this type of service absolutely appalling!!! You are a disgrace!!! How am I going to source the additional funds to pay for your mistake?"""
