you pay for slow and pathetic service

<p>I purchased some office furniture from a business in the Western Cape. As I work in Pretoria, I was advised that I should use Logtec as they will deliver within 3-5 days and they look after your furniture. I accepted this advise and paid the invoice in order to secure the delivery time.</p> <p> </p> <p>The furniture was collected on 20 February, and after about a week I decided to contact them as I received no calls as to when the furniture will be delivered. I was then informed that they will contact me when the logistics department has detemined the schedule. Another week went by and again I had to contact them to obtain an update and was informed that it can take up to 3 weeks for my furniture to arrive. Obviously at this point I was very upset and I contacted the furniture company who informed me that the furniture should have arrived according to their agreement with Logtec. I then tried to contact the manager, Andre, and my call was rejected, and a message followed to state that I should call Denise from operations. As I already spoke to Denise I informed Andre of the situation via sms and he merely stated that he does not work with the schedule.</p> <p> </p> <p>On 7 March, I received an email from Denise regarding the delay, the email stated that the attorneys are copied in and that a letter is attached regarding the delay (note this is more than two weeks after they collected my furniture). I then again contacted them and stated that I need a day and time as I am not always in the office, Denise finally stated that the furniture might be here on the 11th of March or the 14th of March. </p> <p> </p> <p>The furniture finally arrived on the 14th of March and I thought the struggle was over, but unfortunately it wasn't as I then discovered that they decided that it will be a good idea to place stickers on my solid wood table top, yes the top, not underneath the top, on the top, and also on the sides of my book cases and not at the back. I am till today still struggling to remove the stickers.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please people steer clear of this company, they are atrocious and definitely not worth the money.</p>
