PAID FOR BUT INCOMLETE

My daughter (who was in UAE at the time) found this company on Gumtree and on relocating to SA hired them to build a Nutec house for R46,000 and clear a few branches and remove them for an extra R1,000 which has been paid. To date (exactly 4 weeks) the trees are still all over the property although they have been paid in full and asked so many times to remove them. The state of the construction is abominable - it is leaking, a doorway is visibly skew, window latches are all missing, the sliding door cannot close because it is skew, plumbing to the structure is non existent, no cupboard to support the sink has been provided as promised, electrical plugs are not earthed, a light switch (incomplete) is placed IN the bathroom, electrical installation is incomplete, sewerage to manhole is a gaping hole, inside the structure was semi painted before any skimming and foundation was laid, skimming of joins is a third done, breakers (electrical) have not been supp**** although R3,900 was paid for electrcials They arrived to cut trees with a 10 inch hacksaw and a small hatchet. They arrived to start the building without as much as a spade and asked if I had one. Unfortunately the whole R46,000 has been paid plus an extra +-R900 and they want R4,000 to complete (R2000 per day) but how can we trust them to complete this task efficiently. The original arrangement was the last 10% to be paid on satisfaction of the end product. This structure is far from liveable or even safe for my daughter's baby, due in three weeks, and all this stress is most detrimental to their health. My neighbour, a Congolese electrician, stated that the electrical were insufficient and ******* and the structure would not even be acceptable in Khayalitsha (no offense, please) and that these people had taken extreme advantage of us. PLEASE HELP!!!
