Please do not use this company! In my opinion this company is just out to take your money. I had locked myself out of my house and called this company. It’s advertised as R325 call out fee. They WhatsApped me and stated that it’s a R325 call out fee and “pricing can only be determined once locksmith is on site”, the locksmith arrived and asked me which lock was locked and I said it’s the top one. He immediately took out a drill and drilled a hole through my lock, no discussion about pricing or even asking me if he should unlock my door or change lock. It happened so fast I had no chance to ask any questions. When he was done he handed me a bill for R3709!!!!! I was in utter shock and when I voiced it he didn’t even acknowledge it he just stood there discoing invoice and payment. It was R325 call out fee R2500 opening fee and R1000 for replacement lock. When I called the “head office” again to ask why I wasn’t given the option to open lock instead of replacement I was told this is just a call center and then he said couldn’t hear me and hung up. I called back almost 5 times and they canceled my call. I called the WhatsApp number and they canceled my call. When I informed them I would be posting a review on HelloPeter I got a voice note telling me they were busy and would call me in 30 min. It’s now been over an hr. In my opinion this is a **** and they have done this before so please be warned this is their business model. I called another locksmith and he said call out fee is R550 and a new lock is between R195 - R295.
