Beware these ********.

These people are ******** preying on unsuspecting homeowners. Very similar to the tow-truck industry that ******* accident victims who forget to get quotes beforehand. We had a broken lock on a Sunday and called Lock Elite who quoted a R295 call-out fee. The technician arrived and spent an hour repairing (not replacing) a faulty lock. We were then presented with an invoice for R2700! The technician would not leave without PoP - no credit card accepted. When we researched the company further on Google we noticed there is no premises, no email address, and no Google rating. Their invoice had no company reg number or VAT. The technician even admitted that the company takes advantage of clients who don't ask for a complete quotation BEFORE they start work, and then just inflate their prices. No recourse.
