⚠️ Public Warning: Please Be Careful When Dealing With “Local Vehicle Movers” I’m sharing this to warn others about a company calling themselves Local Vehicle Movers. They communicate only through WhatsApp, using the number ***, and the email ***. When you request a quote, they ask for detailed personal information — but their behaviour shows multiple red flags. 🚩 What happened: They sent an invoice instead of a quotation, with reference INV‑858015. The invoice was for R5,175.00, even though no booking was made. The invoice contained someone else’s details, including: Name: Siyavuya Majavu Pickup: Cape Town, Western Cape Delivery: George, Western Cape When contacted from another number, they provided different Standard Bank account details. They insist on real‑time payments, which cannot be reversed. And after we questioned them, they blocked us — another major **** indicator. 🚩 Additional red flags: No CIPC registration No business address No landline No reviews or online presence A newly created domain with hidden ownership Multiple bank accounts for “one” business WhatsApp‑only communication Incorrect invoices sent to the wrong people Legitimate vehicle transport companies do not operate like this. Please be cautious and do not send personal information or payments to this company. Stay safe and protect yourself.
