Misleading

Good day, I was looking for an urgent loan to pay for my motor vehicle that was in for repairs. I contacted a couple of companies to get assistance. I filled in forms, etc. All of a sudden, there is a debit order on my bank for services. I obviously declined those payments. They sent me a msg telling me that I am liable for the policy that I took out with them. I asked them to cancel any services I might have with them, but they refuse to do that! I was sooo desperate at the time, that I did not read, or realize the "fine print". I was obviously not applying for a loan, but contracted myself in some spam!!! I do not know how to get out of this - i believed that I was *******, into this matter. Very bad indeed - people, please check out! |I would like to know if this has happened to other people, as well?
