Weekends & Public Holidays: Closed
Telephone number: ***

I called the number on the email this morning, the voice recording is attached to the email. I explained to the first and second call centre agents that I did not apply for the loan, nor did I sign for anything. My handbag was ****** in the beginning of the year, along with my ID and my driver’s licence. All my bank cards and my personal details at Canal Walk in Cape Town on the 27 March at 6:30pm a Sunday evening. We reported this to the centre management and security and recorded it and reported it to the Police station. The centre recorded document is attached with a referral number. I have had a lot of ***** on my bank accounts and various other outlets on my ID number this year. When I explained this to the call centre agents, they were very little interested and proceeded to insist that I definitely app**** for the service agreement package and loan on the Loan Spotter website. I asked them if they have any physical proof that this was indeed done by me, or could it in fact have been done by anyone who has any identity number in front of them. They still insisted that this was done by me. I asked if they had any physical proof, to which they rep**** that yes they do, they have sent me various confirmation emails and smses. Again I asked them if I have ever rep**** to these smses or email confirmations, to which they rep**** that I don’t have to, the system auto generated confirmation communication takes it as my confirmation. What a load of non-sense!!! I then realised that I am not getting anywhere with them and asked a few times if I could speak to the supervisor or the shift manager, to be passed onto yet another extremely “arrogant” call centre agent who told me that I can call back tomorrow or next week or in a few hours if I really wanted to speak to a manager, because he is the only one that can help me. A manager will tell me exactly the same, he says!!! And then he proceeds to put the phone down in my ear!!!!

Well Loan Spotter, a few things, 1. If this is what you call customer service, well then I wouldn’t be surprised if your emails are flooding with customer complaints, 2. I would also not be surprised if you never even reply to any customer’s complaint. This is by far the worst service I have ever gotten in my entire life!!! Utterly shocking. I would like you to show me in physical writing where I signed and agreed to your service package. Because I can assure you that I, Lindie Liebenberg, did not! If you cannot show my where I physically agreed to this package or to a loan, then you need to immediately erase this false debt that you have created against my name. I will not stand for this and will happily take this further.

I have copied in the consumer complaints department and will be lodging a formal complaint against your agents and against your company. How can you put a debt against anyone’s name if they haven’t physically signed for this or agreed to this on a voice-recorded telephone call? In a society where identity theft is more common than not, this should be monitored and app**** more stricter.

I do not expect anyone of you at Loan Spotter to call me back, as I now know that customer service, let alone service excellence, does not exist in your company values.

Warning to Loan Spotter: I will pursue this until it is fully resolved. I have also lodged this on Hello Peter.

Lindie Liebenberg
