<p>I recently searched for a personal loan and came upon the webiste for Loan Quest SA (Pty) Ltd. I duly filled in the requested information and submitted the application but did not realise that I was actually purchasing a "digitally signed service mandate and agreement". Needless to say, no loan was ever approved or paid out to me and I have now been billed for R1 330.00 for registration fees, unpaid debit orders (none of which reflect on my bank account) and a cancellation of agreement fee. Surely this is no more than a contravention of the Consumer Protection Act and an attempt by this company to solicit money from already financially compromised individuals?</p>
