In June of this year I went online to try and get a loan for my husband for a business venture from a few companies. I happened to find Loan Finder/picker? In order to complete their online application you have four steps to complete for an online application. All I wanted was to see if we would be approved for a loan. No loan was approved however a debit order was taken off my husband's bank account for the amount of R429. On 27 June a R99 was debited from his account, supposedly a Convenient Monthly Service package fee. Upon discovering these unauthorized deductions we made a telephonic call to have them stop this. In the interim they have been charging us for penalties every month of R110 because we stopped the debit orders and are now also asking for early cancellation fees. We are constantly being harassed with emails saying that we will be handed over legally if we do not settle a bill of R1632.50. They claim that we ticked off a box on their website agreeing to their terms and conditions. We did not ask for any convenient package and only wanted to apply for a loan!!!!!???? By the way if you log onto their site there is no terms and agreement to view and this tick box is ticked already when you log on??? Do not use this company, they are ************ and I will be contacting Clientelle Legal to take this matter further should they persist with the threats. I have requested through several emails that they pay back the amount of R528 that they took from me but all they do is threaten that they will hand me over.
