Last year May, I got an advert from this company advertising quick and easy loans. I rep**** and they sent me a list of documents they needed for the application. I sent all my documents and did not hear from them again. A month later I contacted them again to follow up and was informed my application was denied. Today I receive a final demand and told I have to pay almost R800 or I will be handed over. Upon phoning I get the rudest person Daniel Josephs telling me I agreed to a 1 year service. The more I told him I did not join any service I did not agree to any of it I have not received any documents or invoices or anything, the more he continued to insult me by telling me I can't read it was stated in the terms and conditions. What term and conditions? I did not get anything from them. Then he said he will mail me the confirmation document. He refused to put me through to his supervisor or manager and the document he mailed is their documents (not seen by me before not signed by me) anyone can draw up a document and then claim money from another person. This is a ********** scheme and they force it onto people and then refuse to assist. They cannot proof to me where I was informed about the year subscription (it is in the fine print in their term and conditions) which is ******* you have to inform people about subscriptions and the amount as per the consumer act. I did not receive the terms and conditions to read. I did not sign or agree to it and they way they set people up is ********* and not disclosing details also against the consumer act.
