Loan Enquiry turns into 12 month contract!!!

After finding loan hub on the internet I decided to do an enquiry to see if I qualify for a loan to use as vehicle finance. After seeing that they are sending contracts that I have to sign I decided to ignore it and after a few days they made a debit order of R399.99 on my account, after stopping this, I received an email saying I have to pay a cancellation fee for breacing the contract, WHAT CONTRACT? ****!!!
