Sharks that feed on vulnerable and desperate

<p>Thses people are really cons. On their site they offer a free loan finding service, which I made use of on the 11th November . They then sent me an sms with a landline number to phone, because they found a lender who will assist me. Fortunately my financial situation changed and I didnt need the loan anymore, so I just ignored it. On the 25th I received a sms stating that the once off initiation fee of R395 plus a montly fee of R68 is due by the 30th. I called them yesterday to say that I didnt sign up for their services and that they should cancel it immediately. I then received an email back to say I should call customer care, which i did. The consultant then said that I would still be debited R250 because I didnt cancel within the cooling off period of 5 days. I told him that nowhere on their site it says that you actually signing up, nor do you read anything bout the fees. I also told him that I wasnt informed of the cooling off period or I would have cancel their services on the very same day. The consultant then said that they sent me a pack email (consist of 3 emails : a welcome email, an email with the terms and conditions and a competition email) on the same day which informed me bout the cooling off time frame, an email that I never received, as according to them it was sent to the incorrect email address and because it is sent systematically, they dont see reports of whether it was delivered and read, he even quote the amount I wanted to borrow incorrectly. I wanted to borrow R300, but he spoke about R5000. I told the consultant that I refuse to be held accountable for any money, as I didnt agree to sign up with them and also because the most important information was withheld in the beginning and then their welcome email + terms and conditions, I havent received. I then requested that they forward me the original emails that was intended for me, the consultant said he will ask if they can do it. He then said that they will forward on to my email address, which i bet they fixed, so that they can forward the "original mail " to me, which I AM STILL WAITIN FOR. I also told him that I will take this matter up with and appropriate Forum because they are exploiting people who is already in financial hardship. I am not letting this go or see them getting their hands on my money.</p> <p> </p>
