Load finders *****ing your money

Loan finder debited my bank account without my acknowledgement or consent, I just scrolled through my statement and saw they debited me, I reversed it at the bank and was told I just need to keep an eye on my account and reverse it again if it's deducted again. How can anyone just take money from your account without you providing your banking details
