im facing legal action for service that was never rendered

Lifestyle legal its giving me a hard time,they say im owing them for something that i didn't get.

Last year around September i was desparetley for cash to renovate my house and I started looking for loan. In banks they were offering less than what i needed and as a result i browsed through internet looking for loans. There were lots of website that were on internet and it required my personal details 1st so that they can call me for quotations. When i was busy filling up my details there was a flashing box that said i should click on it for bieng able to continue. I tried to avoid the box but i couldn't send through my details if i did not click on the box. Due to frustration i click the box and my details were sent. Few hours after i started receiving emails from Loan finder requesting me to fill up more of my personal details so that they can help me get a loan. End of November 2015 they debited R400 and something from my fnb account from loan tracker/finder i went to the bank and reverse the amount. They called me saying that my account its in errors ,i ask which account they said the loan finder/tracker account. I told them that i did not have any agreement with them for helping me to get a loan. They told me about the box that i have ticked as an agreement that i took their service and they told me that i should have read their terms and conditions before accepting their policy.

I have tried to explain to them that i was desperate and in my clear mind i wouldn't signed up to pay more R400pm for tracking a loan where else im im not financially fit hence i needed a loan. They told me that iv got a contract and i have to pay it monthly for the next 24 months.

They were debiting to my account every month and i was reversing their debit every month as we didn't reach agreement about cancelling me from their subscription.

End of January 2016 i got a letter of demand from Lifestyle legal saying i should pay. Below its the letter they have been sending to me:

LIFESTYLE LEGAL // YOURSELF

Your Reference #

IN RE: PAYMENT OVERDUE

Dear, MISS NOMZAMO MASOMBUKA, Identity Number: ********** 952084

It is our instructions that;

The amount of R1538.75 is overdue for payment.

As per the Letter of Demand sent to you on Mar 2 2016 9:12AM, you now have 24 hours to make full payment of the amount as stipulated above.

I do not have the amount and i cant pay because they did not even help me with getting a single loan and i have explain to them my mistake but they didn't listen.
