Cant cancel contract

I was looking for a loan last week. I keep getting emails from Loanfinder SA so I thought I would give them a try. I registered and only afterwards I read the small print and realised this was not a free service but there was a charge of R395. I saw on the website that there was a 7 day cooling off period so I sent an email to the website requesting a cancellation as I had changed my mind. A week later I receive an email saying that I need to phone the customer care to cancel. I have now done that and I am told I cant cancel as the debit order has not come off my account yet and the 7 day cooling off period only starts after the debit order comes off my account and I have received an sms stating the debit order has come off. Then I need to wait 5-7 days before I can contact them to return my money. This is ridiculous and the website is misleading!!
