Beware Of Loan Choice SA

Hi<br> <br> I received a mail during March inviting me to apply for a loan. I decided to apply and see what I might qualify for.<br> <br> I was presented with an application form on their website. I completed the application form and submitted this. I then received a SMS advising that I would have to pay R 399.00 for the services of Loan Choice procuring the loan.<br> <br> I sent them an email that day asking whether this fee was payable if a loan application was successful or whether this was regardless of the outcome of the loan. They had asked for an EFT for the R 399.00 which I did not deposit as I had no reply from Loan Choice. I decided not to follow through with the loan application.<br> <br> On the 2 April 2015, Loan Choice attempted a debit of R 399.00 from my bank account. I contacted Loan Choice today only to be told that I did have an agreement with them, and that I should have read the terms and conditions.<br> <br> They have hidden the fees in their terms and conditions, and have not stipulated these anywhere on their application.<br> <br> Regards<br> Kavin
