One says one thing and the other says another

A friend and I seen a beautiful backdrop (old broken building overlooking the desert) in the Nicolway store, we went in to enquire the price and the store manager there said it's just a backdrop they use and then store away, never to be used again. I then went on to ask if they would sell it to me once they were done using it. She then said she wouldn't charge at all, as they would never use it again and that i should come back at month end and she'd give it to me. Well i went back to the store and the store manager was off so i asked the ladies there about it and told them what she said. They looked for it and found it was sent to the Bedfordview store, the lady took my number and said she'd call them to return it and call me to collect. Well she did call and then gave me a price of R2500.00 and said the store manager said she must charge for it. This has left a bitter taste in my mouth and will NEVER support your Nicolway store EVER again!
