Malpractice | Divorce Priceedings

Michael van Rensburg was the lawyer who handled my divorce on behalf of LJ Attorneys. . Proceedings commenced in 2016. They never advised the status of my divorce, or that I had officially become divorced. I found out I was divorced by chance during a routine enquiry at the Department of Home Affairs in 2020. I have repeatedly requested my decree of divorce since then from both LJ Attorneys and Michael van Rensburg. It is 2024 now, 8 years after my divorce proceedings started, and I still do not have proof that I am actually divorced. Bear in mind that they have been paid in full. I will never recommend anyone use the services of this establishment. They bring the integrity of the profession into disrepute.
