Unfulfilled promises - payment made towards overnight services which never materialised

I made the purchase of items quite easy on 1 October 2025. Followed up on the delivery and arranged for overnight courier services to reach me. A payment of R700 was made for the goods to be send and reach me by the following day and confirmation of payment was received. Past 13h00 I was informed that the couriers were unable to deliver as per the promise, causing a delay and frustration to my plans. I wasted money on a rented vehicle from the Thursday, I lost one night's business of 3 clients due to my late arrival on Friday late afternoon. I spent money on arrangement with RTT as per picking up the goods in the early hours Friday morning, only to be advise that the shipment is not received at the time it was confirmed. Further arrangement was promised that the courier delivery via Courier it will be assigned to deliver as ear as possible on Friday, only to be arrive before 10. All failed promises from the get-go after paying towards overnight courier delivery.
