Livesustainable false advertising and returns

I recently ordered a bluenova battery from Livesustainable, the battery was working fine and about after a week the bluetooth function stopped working and from dat one the battery would not charge up to the voltage which was advertised on their website and stated in the manual. The battery would turn off after about 15min of charging stating a overvoltage alarm. The battery was charged with a Victron charger at 14.4v and 20a as recommended by bluenova and as stated on Livesustainable’s website. I got in touch with them requesting a refund because the bluetooth function is broken and the battery does not do what is advertised. According to their website electrical items could be sent back in a 30 day time period, the battery was send back withing 16 days. Yes the package was opened but how am I suppose to know the battery that was delivered is the one I oredered without opening the package. How am I suppose to know the battery does what is advertised without opening the package? Since im receiving a new battery now why can’t I just return the new battery for a refund without opening the package? Am I actually receiving a new battery beacuse if im not mistaken I paid for a NEW battery not a broken and then fixed battery. You can’t expect your clients to trust a battery when doing remote tours if you do not even trust the battery. Why can’t I return the new unopened package? If I received a battery that was fixed/replaced and actually did what is stated on the website I would have been happy but it does not do what is advertised. False advertising
