Bosch 2 yr warranty - Livecopper

Hi . Purchased a Bosch cordless Professional Drill/driver in November 2018 from their website with a 2 year warranty. Contacted the salesman Wade in Jan 2020 when the drill started to get hot & smokey . Item was promptly picked by courier for warranty claim. Was contacted by Wade yesterday claiming the drill only has a 1yr warranty. I pointed out to him today(17 Jan 2020) that it has a 2 yr warranty period & that is still on his website for his verification. He checked & acknowledged it -luckily I took a screen shot with the 2yr warranty . During the course of today (17 January 2020) they duly changed the warranty periods on all their Bosch products from 2 yrs to 1 yrs after my query this morning. I just hope that they honour the warranty - still awaiting the outcome.
