little tree air freshener damaged my car dashboard

i bought the little tree air freshener from builders wear house and put it by the air vent a week or so later removed the freshen but to see that the dash had melted. i filed in a claim form from little tree and the claim was rejected<br> now it is going to cost me R40020.00 to repair my car
