Refusing to refund deposit
Little Legends School was sold without giving the parents a month's notice which is a breach of contract. I also believe it was very ********* of Ann to have sold the school mid year as I admitted my son there after she gave me an assurance that she was there to teach my son. Not even a meeting of the parents were called. Instead we were all told individually about the transfer of ownership. I was told about it on 13 May and on 18 May Candice took over at a new venue. This did not give us enough time to take a rational decision. I did not send my son to Candice's new school even for one day but quick enough realised with the new ownership I do not want to send him there. Since a month's notice was not served I approached both Ann and Candice that I must be refunded the May fees of R1250 plus the deposit of R1250 plus half of R500 stationery I supp**** to the school. A total refund of R2750. Both of them refuses to refund me. I admitted my son at Little Legends on the personal assurance of Ann that she will be teaching my son. Ann has never given me or any of the parents a receipt for any of the payments.

(Report edited by Hellopeter.com)
