Dollhouse disaster

I have ordered and paid for goods that I have not received. On 30 Apr 2019 I ordered a Dollhouse/jungle gym for my daughter's second birthday from Little Lads and ladies baby boutique. On 2 May I received an invoice and made a 60% deposit into their account to the value of R4080.00

On the 11th of June I was told by the owner the playhouse would be delivered and installed on either 25 or 26 June.

On 24 June I sent an email which went unanswered. On 26 June I (once again) sent and email which went unanswered.

On 27 June I phoned the owner, only to be told that she is driving and I should phone back in 30 mins.

I phoned her 3 times before I eventually got an answer. It was not what I had hoped for.

The 3rd party supplier let her down due to him being in some sort of legal predicament and no turn around time for completion of delivery/installation could be given.

I was then told to basically speak to the 3rd party to either wait until he get's out of this situation or ask for my deposit back.

The feedback was shocking to say the least. His accounts are unaccessable and therefor I am stuck without my order and no means of getting my deposit back.

Every time they are put under pressure for answer we get the same excuses. For example:we are doing our best but.........

I decided to do an internet search on the 3rd party supplier and to my horror I found several individuals who were done in by the same person.

The owner of Little Lads and Ladies takes no responsibility in the matter at the moment... letting me know that I should have assumed that she uses someone else for installations and since she paid my money over to him, there isn't much she can do at the moment.
