Deposit paid - no goods recieved and no deposit paid back

I paid a deposit for a kiddies house framed bed over a month ago. After asking twice when I can expect the bed to be delivered, I recieve this soppy email:

Good morning, I deeply regret to inform you that our supplier “Jake’s se Hout Ontwerpe” (also known as Custom Wood Design) is no longer able to fullfill your order and has also not given any cooperation in returning the deposit you have paid. I have therefore gone ahead and opened a case against him (both ******** and civil) along with attorney Elso Viljoen https://www.evalaw.co.za/ in order to fight for your deposits. To verify the situation you can contact ***xx at ******xx . The case number is CAS115/7/2019 at Villieria police station. I know you must be just as angry and frustrated as I am and I sincerely apologise for the huge inconvenience, but I assusre you that Elso and I are doing everything we can to get you your money back as soon as possible. How on earth does she think I have to wait for my deposit I paid to her due to her making a ***** deal. That’s not my problem at all!
