Beware of Mislead quotations, Bad workmanship

<p>Landscaper who quoted, did not take responsibility of a very bad job of artificial grass that was done by his subcontractor. He also has not solved the problem as agreed. I phoned supplier, Easigrass who gives 8 years guarantee on their actual grass, not labour and installation etc. Nine months ago I received a quotation for artificial grass and landscaping. I told landscaper what my budget was and we discussed various types of grass, agreeing on Easigrass, and a certain type etc, he took measurements and then quoted on 35 mm grass . (I noted afterwards on quote there was no mentioning off measurements or type of grass and no guarantee) When subcontractor came, it was too little grass and a different type of grass. Subcontractor said that measurements was according to landscapers order which resulted in me paying in more than was quoted. We were not given type of grass that was quoted, 35mm either. (Landscaper asked for 70% deposit and rest of payment within 3 days) Within the 1 st week, my husband pointed out to landscaper and subcontractor that prep work not done correctly and glue etc not suitable as there were big spaces , grass was uneven and bubbles caused by incorrect prep work as well as ****s. Situation got worse, photos send, phone calls made and eventually landscaper and subcontractor came to see and acknowledged that job was not done correctly and he admitted he was new to this. They agreed to replace and salvage situation asap. This is now 9 months later, and situation got worse. Still not resolved and no feedback from Landscaper or subcontractor.</p>
