No after sales service
I had bought a 2008 Hyundai Tucson from the Wyn-berg Branch and traded my Volkswagen Polo in at a *****, which I should have listened to my gut, as the service experience and the way that they conduct Business is exactly the feeling I had when they only offered me a trade in of R40K where retail on the car was R72K. Warning bells I did not listen to.
What followed then was terrible after sales service. The faults I had highlighted 1.Power steering making a noise, 2. Passenger door Electric window doesn't work, 3. Radio volume doesn't work, 4. Rear brake caliper gets stuck upon reversing and makes a banging noise until the caliper actually releases, upon the test drive never got fixed, I agreed to pay R550 for the bumper repair as it was dented, which I thought to be a ******* as they just had to pull the plastic bumper out, which takes five minutes, the rest of the things listed did not get fixed. After a couple emails and numerous calls to the sales agent and Sales Manager, I eventually got the car booked in for repairs. Two weeks after I had collected the car. I received the car back two days later than promised and to my surprise only the belt from the power steering was fixed, nothing else, No apology, no explanation. I also discovered that the windscreen was badly cracked upon collection and upon phoning the Sales Manager I was told the Dealer Principle wont speak to you and she is too busy to deal with complaints., and that she says I must claim from my insurance, for a windscreen i had left in perfect cndition when I dropped the vehicle and was damaged whilst the vehicle was in Lisa-banks posession, driven by a Lisa-bank employee to the service center. Their logic being that the distance from them to the service centre they use is only a kilo or two, no way it could get damaged. Very logical thinking I must add, as Wyn-berg is next to Alexandra and the roads there are full of water, Stones and potholes. but no I guess it cant now, accidents don't happen on any road in SA and a stone being flung onto a windscreen only happens on certain roads I guess, they can probably give you a list of those roads as well.
Very nice customer service!!! This is what you can expect if you buy a vehicle from LISA-BANK Folks. Rather go somewhere else where you wont get pushed from pillar to post with no real answer and one Employee blames another and nothing gets done and they expect you to pay for repairs and damages to the vehicle.
Learn't my lesson the hard way. Will definitely write to Wes bank next and lodge a complaint about Lisa-bank.
