Lisabank Repossession Warehouse CC sold me a dud with a life expectancy of 30 minutes

<p>On the 29th April I completed all documentation allowing myself and wifey to go home with our&nbsp;new Opel Astra 1.4T, gorgeous car. Unfortunately mine and my wifes happiness was short lived. Under 30 minutes to be exact, the car overheated and we ended up stranded on the side of the highway with the dealership also unable to assist us with a tow.</p> <p>We managed to tow the vehicle home which cost 1650.00 rands, from the moment we got stuck i demanded a refund and for them to take the vehicle back. Over the past week I have constantly demanded a refund which according to my lawyer and others alike I was entitled to as the vehicle did not meet its requirement, the purpose for which i purchased it, to be a car and act like one aswell.</p> <p>I also discovered that the car was previously involved in an accident which I was not informed about when I asked before buying the vehicle. I actually have the invoice&nbsp;that the towing company provided the night the vehicle was in the accident. I also have the previous owner provinding me with a Affidavits stating that when he sold the car he informed them that the car was involved in an accident. The same accident they keep denying knowledge of.</p> <p>After a long run around and every attempt to avoid my request for a refund they finally responded denying me the refund.</p> <p>Thus, I have bought a car with a sizable cash deposit that does not work, that is not in my possession and will not be getting a refund after its 30 minutes of driving.. Kudos to them for trying to help out by fixing the vehicle but that makes no difference since the vehicle is accident damaged, something I have already had and am afraid of.</p> <p>While i have been told that the vehicle is repaired and ready for pick up I will not be picking it up as I prefer going the legal way, &nbsp;I will get my money back, If not i will ensure that they pay out of their pockets for the legal battle ahead. I will not give up, its companies like this that take advantage of people and their hard earned money.</p> <p>As someone reading this and many other complaints against LisaBank, please do not take the risk and buy from these people. Look at their online reputation alone, complaint after complaint after complaint. Look at the fact that they do not even subscribe to HelloPeter, they don't care. Their attitude towards the situation was poor and uncaring only looking out for themselves. Save yourself the trouble and the money. Save yourself the sappy feeling of being a joke to them cause thats how they made me feel.</p>
