Pathetic service & useless agents

After taking my television to the "official" agents in Cape Town for Samsung repairs, the service was absolutely pathetic on several fronts. My television was there for 3 weeks and they were unable to repair citing they could not get "parts" for it. During the 3 weeks, I had to phone them all the time to find out what was transpiring. NOT ONCE did I receive feedback from them. Every time I was told,please be patient we will try find the parts otherwise you will have to throw away the television set which is a few years old! Eventually, 3 weeks later, I was told to come collect it, as they could not repair it and that I should dump the set. In the interim, a friend mentioned a tiny tv repair shop in Sea Point, called Malta Creations, whom I took the television set to. Alas, within TWO DAYS, they fixed the problem!! How Samsung appoint Liptronics as the official agents is farcical. Their customer service is a joke and clearly their technical ability too!
