Our Samsung television recently stopped working and although the sound was still there the screen was completely black. My husband then took the TV back to the well known major ratailer, where we had bought the TV a few years earlier, and they referred us to a company called, Liptronics. Liptronics then quoted us R2875.39. Shocked and confused at this quotation, which could basically buy a brand new TV, I ended up leaving a deposit because I thought the company was honest and reliable and because of the brand of the TV I naïveley thought they would not be lying or trying to ******* people, especially pensioners. After telling my wife and daughter they quickly found alternative quotes and I ended up paying R450 and got my fixed TV the next day. It's Important to share that Liptronics does not care about people. They are ripping people off and should not be supported. We understand that companies vary in prices but a R2000 variance must be shared because this is exploiting people. Be careful and always get more quotes and speak to people to share and find out a bit more before letting companies rip you off. They kept the deposit, delivered below average customer service and it turned out it was only the globes on the TV that had to be replaced.
