Over 10 years of paying for legal cover – extremely disappointing first experience

I have been paying monthly for legal cover through First for Women for more than 10 years and have never needed to use the service until now. Unfortunately, my first experience with Law For All has been incredibly disappointing.

It has been well over a month since I initially contacted them regarding my matter. During my first conversation I was told that the process would likely take a maximum of approximately two weeks.

Correspondence was eventually sent to the other attorneys, who were given two weeks to respond. That deadline has now passed as well, yet I still do not have any meaningful update or explanation of what happens next.

What frustrates me most is the lack of proactive communication. I understand that Law For All cannot force another attorney to respond within a certain timeframe. However, I absolutely expect the company I have been paying for more than a decade to follow up, communicate with me and explain what action is being taken when a deadline expires.

I followed up again by email on Wednesday and have not even received a response to that.

We are holding off on other business activities while waiting for this matter to be finalised, so these delays have real consequences for us.

After paying monthly premiums for over 10 years, this being the very first time I have needed the service, I expected considerably better. I should not have to continually chase a legal service provider for basic updates on my own matter.

I would like Law For All to urgently escalate my case, provide a clear update and explain exactly what is being done to move this matter forward.
