Lipco bad service

On the 06/05/2020 did I join lipco law for all, and a friend of mine did also join. I did indicate to the consultant that I want to pay for his policy. She then advised me that I need to send a authorization for his debit order to go off on my account, which I did do so in time. On the 07/05/2020 my policy was 'approved' but not my friend's one. On the 08/05/2020 did I request a consultant to give me a call back. The very same consultant that signed us up did give me a call. After I was checking with her she advised me that his policy is 'pending approval.' I can't understand they wanna debit you swiftly but you need to be approved or not approved to become a member. On the other side I can't say that payment will be pending per debit order then they don't wanna cover you. This is seriously unacceptable and a joke of approval and pending approval.

When you sign up they suppose to tell you that but no. And I don't wanna use it but let me mention this, I am a disabled person. Is this really how law for all operates.

I am seriously unhappy about this whole sanario.

Dear Tesswill Riddles.

Thank you for writing to us about your experience.

We're so sorry to hear that you are disappointed and feel like we're letting you down. Rest assured, our team is doing everything in our power to resolve the matter as soon as possible.

Please bear in mind, that while we are doing all we can, there are various laws and regulations in place to protect South Africans, which we have to abide by. After the Intermediary (LIPCO Business) has captured all the required info on the Underwriting Manager's systems, it has to be verified by the Underwriting Manager.

Mr Fanie Vos, from LIPCO Business, has been made aware of the matter by the Sales Consultant. He has been in touch with you and is working on getting the necessary verification early next week.

We don't want you to stress! You and your friend already have LAW FOR ALL's legal team in your corner and you can count on us for legal help, irrespective of whether deduction has taken place or not.

Sorry for the inconvenience. If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to Mr. Vos.

Good day,

Thank you for your response in this regard. I really do appreciate it a lot.

Just a correction, Mr Vos made contact with me via email, which I think is so inappropriate. I do understand that you guys are working according to rules and regulations. I have also numerous times asked that someone in a higher level should make contact with me via phone (like Mr Vos) on the given numbers as on your system.

I will be waiting on feedback on due course regarding the matter, but bare in mind I'm not happy at all.
