I would like Lipco to be honest to their members by telling them that they only cover you on matters they feel that are winnable, not on all matters, and also I'm asking myself that on bail cover that they will help you also after you have committed a cri

It was early 2021 when I joined Lipco, things where looking good until I had labour issue at work, I was unfairly dismissed at work this year March, then I logded a complain at Lipco for assistance as my cover also cover for labour matters, when I joined I was told that the total annual cover was over R200 thousand, then my matter needed an attorney, but to my surprise when Lipco had to allocate me an attorney, I was told that my matter is not winnable, therefore Lipco cannot assist me with legal fees, my question was that, how can lipco anticipate my matter before it even go for trial/arbitration that I'm going to loose the case? Secondly, when I joined I was never told that lipco will only allocate attorneys on matters that they feel are winnable, I was told that my cover is this much on legal matters, be it you win or you loose the matter it doesn't matter cause that money is from your cover that you pay every month. I'm very much disappointed on how lipco handled my matter.
