Lionel was hired to complete renovations on our house earlier this year. After taking 10 weeks to complete a 4 week job, being paid in full and lying to us continuously about money and materials, we finally fired him with the work half done. We also loaned him R7000 to pay his staff during the phase. <br> <br> At this stage, our house is half done and I have been chasing him for over a month to pay us back, a total of R35000 that he owes us. I have had to start a legal court process to obtain this money but even that he is avoiding as he refuses to provide either a home or work address to issue a summons. Unfortunately numerous visits to the SAPS has also not yielded results. <br> <br> I would like to warn all potential clients of this builder. My family has been put through endless grief because of his lies and deceit. And now, when challenging him for what he owes us he is rude, regularly swearing at me and has said before that he will not give us a cent, even though he signed acknowledgement of debt with us for the amount. We ourselves are now in financial difficulty and I don't want to this this happen to anybody else. I would avoid all dealings with his company.
