Lack of communication and service

I will NEVER make use of Lionel Motors in Rustenburg Renault again.

I took my car for a service. They had to change my front brake pads. All fair I agreed to have them changed.

When i got my car back after they cleaned it (Which they can't do properly) i noticed a plastic cover in my boot. The cleaners broke my back brake light cover and just left it there. The person that gave me the key said nothing and disappeared. I took the broken cover and showed the lady at reception what happened. She said that she will call me to let me know what is happening regarding the broken part.

On my way back to Thabazimbi just as I approached Mogwasie i felt my steering wheel start to shake. When i came to a stop I got out to see if i can see anything wrong. To my huge shock i saw that my right side front wheel was actually loose in such way that i completely removed two(2) wheel nuts with my fingers with ease.

Two weeks went by with NO follow up as promised. So i went back to Rustenburg Renault to find out what is going with my requests. I spoke to the workshop manager Kobus. When i told him about the broken cover he didn't even know about it. Meaning for two(2) weeks no one reported the matter to him so they just left it. Needless to say the replacement part was not there. I also explained my huge concern regarding my loose wheel nuts and told him what happened for the first time.

After he looked at my car and saw what the cleaners broke he went with me to reception to tell them himself that they should order the part.

It is now almost a month and not a single word from them. Not any feedback NOTHING... So today(Saturday) i went back to Renault Rustenburg for the second time to try and get answers. This time a drove all the way from Polokwane just to see that there was only one person who could help me and he didn't even know about anything. Again meaning that communication is a very serious problem. Once again i wasted my time, money and petrol with no results the person just took my detail AGAIN.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Kobus to let me know what is happening with my parts and he said he will investigate the matter regarding the loose wheel nuts and give me feedback on the matter.

I WILL NEVER MAKE USE OF LIONEL MOTORS RENAULT RUSTENBURG AGAIN. I highly recommend that who ever is responsible for that division should seriously do some investigating his staff if this type of stuff continues i don't really see a long future for them.

Word for describing my experience: Absolutely pathetic.
