Lion Of Africa failing to pay my Claims for almost 6 months
We have an Insurance Policy with Lion Of Africa that began in December 2017. They are slow and very inefficient. We do have more than 7 Vehicles. And due to their actions, we are frustrated Clients. Lion Of Africa does not quickly own up to its clients’ claims and they delay so much to shrug off their clients so that they do not pay.
Of the 4 Accidents / incidences involved with our Cars (1 was a write Off – Toyota Etios CA 685 882). The Write Off Accident happened on 26 April 2018 and the Agreement Of Loss was signed 4 Months later 22 August 2018 (We still await Proof Of Payment for our balance of R 11 390). 2nd Accident happened 02 May 2018 where our CA 504 174 Toyota Etios motor was hit by a Europcar Rentals vehicle). Europcar was quick to ask for our Insurance Lion Of Africa Claims department but Lion Of Africa did not follow up and nothing has happened since then. (We eventually repaired our own vehicle at our own expense and Lion Of Africa was silent and never even went after Europcar Rental) 3rd Incident was a hijacked Toyota Etios CA 981 624 on 29 July 2018 and Lion Of Africa went quiet after we submitted our Claim. In all cases we have had to repair our own vehicles at our own expense with no refund from Lion Of Africa. 4th Incident was the Windscreen Damages which happened on 19 July 2018 to our Toyota Etios CA 981 624 and we paid for replacement of windscreens at our own expense and still no refund. 5th incident was reported as the same vehicle’s left side front window was broken and we had to pay for the expenses without any compensation. My Policy Number is -UTTI001271.
