Updated Transunion adversly yet sent us acc LATE
This is the 2nd time while rental through Linprop that we have received an SMS from Transunion stating our TPN record has been adversly affected as rent was not paid!
Linprop sent us the statement on the 31/01/2015 which is a SATURDAY! i arrived at work this morning received the invoice and sent it to my husband to pay it!
THIS IS RIDICULOUS that our credit record is updated when it was their mistake to send the invoice on the 31/01/2015 and on a Saturday! I receive my emails at work and do not work Saturdays or Sundays!!!
The invoice should be sent at least 2-3 WORKING days before it is due!
Very quick to update transunion but thats about all they are quick with!
Shocking service showing once again its only the owner that matters! who cares about the tenant!
As explained in response to your email, which was received 3 minutes prior to this complaint, the credit listing can only be manually changed once your rental has been received. As no payment has been received as yet, the credit listing cannot be changed. The credit bureau we subscribe to, receives the information directly from our payment system, and as long as no rental payment has been received, the system will not allow me to make any changes.
However, it is important to remember that your lease agreement states that the rent should reflect in our bank account on the 1st of each month (not the first business day, but the 1st). Your rental is a non-variable, and good payment behaviour would have been to either query why your statement had not been received as yet, or to make payment for the same amount than your previous statement to avoid a poor credit rating.

Carina van der Linde
