Pharmacist Incompetence

Had a very bad experience with an overnight pharmacist (name available)who gave me wrong over-the-counter medication(since I had preempted that I needed sugar free medication). I stepped out and rechecked only to find out that the medication had sugar in it. Upon my return(barely 2 minutes later) the pharmacist was said to be using the staff loo. Waited for more than 30 minutes and when he came back, he said the medication had been opened hence no refund! How can a professional dispense sugar free cough medication and then proceed to add a nasal spray and tablets with sugar? I’m still waiting for their call to resolve this. I just left the medication with the pharmacist
