Unable to remove LinkedIn profile

I have been trying to delete an old account for which I have no access or idea what email address is linked with it. Unfortunately LinkedIn obviously doesn't appear to want any direct contact with anyone who uses their services as there is simply no way to contact anyone from LinkedIn directly and if you don't remember the email address you simply have no options to delete the profile. I would really like someone from LinkedIn to contact me so that I can get this profile removed.
