LinkedIn- Up Your Privacy Game Please!

I generally don’t have a problem with LinkedIn as it has allowed me to come into contact with recruiters and also network with others in my industry. However, the second I shared my cv on LinkedIn, I received a call from a very shady recruitment company, that wanted to know more about my experience. They would not disclose a valid email address, company address, telephone number or cellphone. As soon as I started asking these questions, the conversation became cold and hostile. I’m urging LinkedIn to be more vigilant with who they share our details with. There is already a discomfort of job search hoping that your current employer doesn’t find out, now we have to stress about shady characters who can do anything with our CVs..... Which has all the information a Psycho/******* would need. At least a disclaimer of the implications attached to sharing our numebers/emails/CVs. A lot of unemployed people out there who would fall for anything so long as a job opportunity is attached to it.
