Jobs not accepting applications

Why does Linkedin advertise positions that are a day old yet when one applies it gives a message that the job is no longer available or that one cannot access the link. I app**** for one specific job 10xs and it said the job is not accepting applications yet the closing date was 3 weeks away. Today another job was posted but the applications are closed.
