Bad servicec

I went to links pharmacy at chris hani crossing in vosloorus. that's where I normally buy my medication. for more that 5 years i've been using this pharmacy as I'm using medical aid and it's convenient since it's not faar from my house.

I went to buy flu medication a week ago, to the shock of my life I was assisted by one gentleman whom i believed he's a new pharmacist or assistant as it was my first time seeing him. after capturing my medicine on his system, he told me that i need to pay a levy of R2,30. I made him aware that I don't have cash with me but I'll be using a bank card for payment. the guy told me that i can only use a card if my purchases are over R20,00 and he said at least i should buy a cold drink or something just for my purchase to be over R20,00. i objected to this as the only thing i wanted was a medicine and it's not my challenge that the phamarcy doesnt have facilities to accomodate me.

I felt very sad as the guy told me he won't give me the medicine. even though I explain to him that I only buy my medication at Thabong Phamarcy and they never refused me medicine because of levy. he told me it's none of his problem that i dont have a R2,30 levy. I had to walk a 500m distance to go to the standard bank ATM , wait on a long queue to withdraw money. when i got back to the pharmacy i had to wait on the queue again. when my turn came he gave me the medication. I tried to make him aware of my discomform with the service he's giving me. he told me that am a customer like any other and i've got a choice to either use their pharmacy or go somewhere else.

for the first time after using this pharmacy I got such a poor service. am not certain whether your new assistant pharmacist are taught of the importance of service. as inconvenient as it is to me, i have to change my pharmacy and use one where i'll be appreciated as a customer. i better drive a long distance for a best service than using a nearest pharmacy where am treated like a number.
