Good day. I have made a loan at link finance and I was approved very quickly like they've said. I had to pay my first installment plus insurance money before the loan will be paid to me. I've paid the money and filled in their contracts that they've send to me. Few days later I still haven't received my loan amount and received a letter from them saying SARS has put my money on hold and I had to pay an additional amount for tax clearance after I received a confirmation letter from FNB that they were instructed to pay my loan amount. I didn't have the clearance money and canceled the loan and had to pay a cancelation fee to get my installment money I have paid back. I payed the cancelation fee and send them proof as instructed. I waited more than a week and my money is still not paid. Then I received a what's up notice that my cancelation fee accrued an interest and I had to pay more money on my cancelation fee to get my money back because of SARS. This is one big **** from a company doing business with South Africans in South Africa. Why I had to pay tax clearance on a loan I don't know, why I struggle to get my money back and pay more cancelation fee on a cancelation fee they've said I had to pay I don't know. To many red flags and to many unknowns and issues. I still don't have the loan and also don't have my money back I have paid.
