Wes and Audria

My wife and I had a humiliating experience at the Woolies Store Constantia Village. The Lindt promoter was very rude and lacked any CUSTOMER SKILL. My wife requested an additional sample. She was rude and said NO. So my wife offered to buy one. She rudely asked "how much are you willing to pay?" Imagine Lindt now charging shoppers for samples. Why not direct them to purchase the product. It wasn't long after that a white gentleman came.past and asked for a sample and also wanted an additional one. The Lindt promoter obliged in the friendliest manner and handed 2 samples to him. So what was "wrong" with my wife then? This is a very subtle form of ************** and would never have expected that from a world famous brand like Lindt. Lindt chocolates offer great products but we certainly will not expose ourselves to HUMILIATION at ANY COST. Our self worth cannot be measured in term of chocolates no matter how great they taste. We value our dignity and self respect far more importantly. I did receive an email from Anika Horn the marketing manager from Lindt SA however her explaintion of hiring an external company to handle in store promotions are all part of their internal processes and not within our control. The HUMILIATION we had to endure ultimately becomes an issue with Lindt SA. I wish some empathy could have been demonstrated to "put herself in out shoes receiving that terrible treatment. We can only truly empathize with people if we are willing to understand the way they were treated and see ourselves being treated like that. That is what EMPATHY is all about. It was a HUGH LET DOWN BY LINDT SA.
