Damaged chocolates with funny taste

Bought a box of Lindt Lindor Chocoates at Checkers Langverwacht. All chocolates in box had holes and were cracked and the colour was a bit funny. Taking a bite the chocolate tasted funny, the ball crumbled. My wife loves the Lindt Chocolates and always commends their quality but this was a huge disappointment for her.
