Get an expert assessment rather than taking the salesperson's word

Lima Cars is in JHB and I live in Cape Town. I enquired via email and Whatsapp re a car listed by Lima Cars on an online platform. The Lima sales person was very proficient in her engagement and provided me with all the information I initially requested regarding the car's mechanical and bodywork history. Well, I thought I had all the relevant info until I received the report sent by the external car inspection company I arranged to inspect the car. Simple but obvious information that the salesperson should have mentioned but didn't were the cracked windscreen, missing jack, shocking wheel alignment, tyre replacement needed, and several panels on the left, right, front and back that had been replaced and/or resprayed. In addition, the electronic diagnostic highlighted faults with the braking system and airbags. My advice - get an expert to assess the vehicle as the money spent is well worth it.
