Lift up Teleporter Cape Town Harbour be aware

On the 11th of January 2024 I had incident in Cape Town Fores**** whereby a breakdown bakkie of the above company Lift Up Teleporter reversed into me on a robot in the Culemborg area, While both of us was standing on the robot to turn right towards the N1 highway. A big truck turned left towards us standing in the same lane I am a biker so I was standing about 2m to 2.5m away from the bakkie at the back, first of all the bakkie has an enclosed alluminium cover no reverse cameras on the cover, Which I have taken a photo off with the registration. The driver of the truck that was turning indicated to the bakkie standing infront of me to look because their is standing someone behind him, he just on kept reversing and I sounded my hooter as well on my bike, NO response from the driver of the bakkie. He got out and came to the back held his head and just said sorry sorry sorry, and I told him how can u not see me if I am standing away from u at such a distance, He told me he will pay for all the damages but I should not inform his company, which I did the following day on the 12/01/2024 because it was an incident that happened and it must be reported, He then responded via Whatsapp that he will not pay anything because I went to his company, I the spoke to one of their managers Mr Louis, after I reported it to SAPS in Ravensmead, they requested me to get quotes for repairs which I did, only one motorbike agent work on my type of bike in Cape Town, then they requested for a police report which I made a case then they wanted an afidavite report but no people was on the scene when it happened this was coming from their company director whom is never available in his office. after several attemps the director decided he will not settle my claim because he feels it was my fault. So my question is this after doing all that required the director feels he will not pay, how many people sit in such situation whereby company transport ends up in accidents never reports it and refuse to pay when it is they mistake the amount is less than R2500.00 still no response please be on the look out for the above company.

Apology for delay in reply, had to wait for our director to reply to me on your last mail.

He is not approving the claim as he believes you were parked to close to our vehicle and in his blind spot.

You did not allow enough space for roll back and hence claim is not approved.
