Worst Airline in South Africa

I bought 2 return tickets in February 2023 and then I couldn't go on the flight as there was sickness in the family. I canceled the tickets and they placed it in a wallet and said they don't refund tickets. I sent them a mail and asked if my sister and her husband could use the tickets and they rep**** no. I asked if they could refund me as I didn't have the money to fly in the future and they kept on saying it is in a wallet. They didn't say anything about that it expires after a certain time. Today I sent a mail and asked if they could refund me as I will never be able to make use of the tickets as I am a state pensioner and won't be able to afford it. I got an email back to say that the tickets have now expired and lost the R3100. What a slap in the face. I will never make use of Lift ever again as I think they are real sharks and I am very disappointed in them
